Open letter to residents, communities and partners in central and northern B.C. regarding COVID-19 response

With the ever increasing impact of COVID-19 on our province, we want to take this opportunity to confirm our commitment to the people and communities in central and northern B.C. We appreciate these are uncertain times and we are here to provide additional support to our recipients and partners. We encourage you to reach out to the staff at the Trust should you need any assistance.
We want to assure you that we are operating as usual and will continue to provide the following:
- Review of, and response to, all applications for community and business development programs
- Making prompt payments to recipients in accordance with signed agreements
- Clear communication regarding possible program adjustments and intake deadlines
Our highest priority is the health and safety of all residents and this is reflected in how we engage with our partners, our communities and with our own employees and their families.
Northern Development is committed to doing its part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and are following the best practices outlined by the Federal and Provincial Governments and Northern Health.
We have limited all non-essential travel and are promoting virtual connection as opposed to face-to-face interactions.
