2012- The Endako Hall Society has made repairs to the Endako Community Hall with funding support from Northern Development. These repairs were necessary due to severe water damage prior to a roof replacement in 2006.
The community hall renovation project included ceiling, lighting, heating, and kitchen renovations, as well as the installation of a folding partition in the central meeting area. The heating renovation was necessary as the oil furnace used to heat the building was no longer in working condition and the society's intention was to install electric heaters as a more dependable alternative.

"The support we had from Northern Development enabled us to install cupboards, extra counters and new flooring as well as painting the whole kitchen. It is so nice for our group to work in there now. It looks beautiful and is a real "selling point" for people coming to check out the hall when they are interested in renting it. We have been renting it regularly since we had the renovations done. Thank you Northern Development!!"

Positive Economic Impacts in Endako
Prior to the renovations, the community hall was not in a useable state. With the successful completion of renovations, the Endako Hall continues to serve as the principal gathering place for community-hosted events, and also as a venue for events that are now made possible due to the newly installed kitchen facilities.
Expected positive economic impacts include job creation, increased tourism revenues, support to local organizations and the farmers market, and an increased number of community events held at the hall. Recent events held at the Endako Community Hall include potluck dinners, charity poker tournaments, community dances, loonie auctions, and game nights.
