The sky is the limit for Lillooet with new funding approved to support airport upgrades

LILLOOET – Funds approved through Northern Development’s Economic Diversification Infrastructure program will transform the Lillooet Municipal Airport into a long-term asset that will generate benefits for the local economy. The Trust’s Board of directors approved $122,786 in funding for the airport, which will be used for repairs, a revamping of the fueling system and an updated pilot lounge. Dinosaur Discovery Gallery gets a boost in Tumbler Ridge

TUMBLER RIDGE – Tumbler Ridge’s efforts to build a robust tourism sector were given another boost this week thanks to Northern Development. November 24, 2015   TERRACE – Northwest B.C. communities are better positioned for growth and opportunity thanks in part to support from Asset Management Capacity Building Program grants, announced by Peter Fassbender, Minister of Community, Sport and Cultural Development, as he wrapped up his tour of the area today.
