"An example of the success of the sportsfield was this past spring which saw over 700 Kids and parents converge on our community for a day of fun, food and friendly competition. The spin-off from this event into our local businesses was evident as parents took the time to shop and socialize in our various restaurants and businesses. The community looks forward to hosting similar regional and provincial level sporting events in the coming years."
