High-speed Internet access coming to Poole Creek

The Connecting British Columbia program is providing $133,000 to Base Technology Ltd. to deliver Poole Creek residents with high-speed Internet access for the first time. An estimated 150 households will be better able to learn, do business, access services and stay connected through high-speed Internet access. Northern Development’s Forest Innovation Fund fully subscribed in first year

The local forest sector is harnessing opportunities to innovate thanks in part to Northern Development Initiative Trust’s Forest Innovation Fund. Enhanced gym floor at City’s recreation complex the result of community partnership

PRINCE RUPERT – The City of Prince Rupert’s Recreation Complex today celebrated a newly-refinished playing surface for the Russell Gamble Gymnasium. The project was completed at a cost of $74,000 through funding provided by partners including the Port of Prince Rupert, Northern Development Initiative Trust, and the City of Prince Rupert. A couple of signs for a vibrant downtown

Two new welcome signs were officially unveiled today welcoming residents and visitors alike into Prince George’s downtown core. The project was part of a $1 million Placemaking Enhancement Initiative by the Prince George Downtown Business Improvement Association, which included $250,000 in funding from Northern Development.
